Make sure not to refrain from your diet regimen when you attend a party of family event. Choose fruits and veggies first before filling your plate with other foods. Doing this means you can still be on your diet but have fun at the gathering. You don’t need to broadcast the fact that you are dieting to fellow party-goers; just carry on as normal.

Set a realistic goal of losing one pound per week. If you lose more than that, it may not be good for you. If you lose weight too fast, it’s not good for you and it can come right back too.

Stay busy to keep your mind of eating and also to burn calories. When we sit idly, our minds often wander to foods, which we then crave because we have nothing better to do. Keeping busy will keep this from happening.
