Lose Weight Today By Doing Things You Enjoy

Published November 27, 2012

Perhaps you’ve tried to lose weight dozens of times. A weight loss program has caught your eye, but after a while, you become bored with it. You might have even dabbled in quick, extreme dieting techniques. Everyone is different and so should their exercise patterns and diets be. This article contains some advice that can help you make up your mind about what is going to be a success for you.

Don’t eat anything less than three hours before going to sleep, and if you do eat a meal later in the evening, keep it light on carbs. Eating a good healthy meal early enough in the evening should help nourish your body throughout the night.

Fat Milk

Instead of using half and half or even whole fat milk in your morning tea or coffee, try using two-percent fat milk. If two percent is your current choice, downgrade to skim.

A little fun time in the bedroom is a great way to burn some extra calories. It helps to take your mind off of cravings. Sex also burns plenty of calories and is a good aerobic workout. In fact, sex could burn about 150 calories in a 30 minute time frame if done properly.

Always be sure to eat breakfast every day. Making a quick stop for a doughnut or pastry is far too simple and convenient when you are pressed for time during your morning commute. But, these pastries are loaded with empty calories. Instead, eat some fruit and oatmeal. These can be prepared quickly, and you won’t have to consume an empty calorie breakfast pastry.

If the first time you implement an exercise and diet regimen the results are not quite what you expected, do not give up. Give yourself some time to find out what works for you. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see immediate results, make some changes instead. Set realistic goals. You won’t drop one full clothing size within only a week’s time. Why set a goal that you cannot reach? Lose a couple pounds a week or every two weeks is a much more reasonable goal. You can do it if you stick with it!
