Get enough potassium by eating produce like tomatoes, bananas and yams for good nutrition. Your body needs potassium to keep blood pressure at a healthy level and protect you from cardiovascular disease and diabetes, among other things. Potassium can also be found in dairy products such as yogurt and milk.
