Fitness Should Not Be Taken Lightly

So many people today look for different ways to keep their bodies in good shape, for a wide variety of reasons. Fitness reduces your risks of developing a large number of health issues. If you are in top shape, you will lead a more fulfilling life style. For those interested in improving their health and vitality, keep reading.

Start with the smaller weight machines and work your way up to the big ones. Smaller muscles tire faster than large ones, so it’s best to pay attention to them first. Then, as you work your greater muscles, the small ones get a much-needed break.

Simple rule for working out to build your body: Fewer reps with heavier weight will build more muscle mass. Choose the muscle group you want to work. Warm up with lighter weights. You should be able to do 15-20 reps at your warm-up weight. The second set should consist of heavier weights with half the amount of repetitions. Add 5 more pounds, and then repeat the reps for your third set.

Muscle Mass

Lifting lighter weight with more repetitions can increase muscle mass. Building muscle mass is more about endurance than the ability to lift more weight. Many heavy lifters use this specific method.

Make a regular schedule to prevent you from not making exercise a part of your life. CHoose a few days each week to exercise, then follow through with your plans. When you miss a workout, fit in extra activities sometime in the same week.
